i havent been on in forever!
life is getting busy....
well since life is busy, i dont have very much time right now
therefore i have to go. i hope the ppl who have been telling me to update my xanga are happy!

| hey
a teacher came into our Christian club on wednesday and didn't have very good news
they didn't like the sight of 50 kids praying and encouraging each other in the highschool quad
they said "many disscussions involving that incident had been made..."
and next week they would have a talk with us on their decision
then they told us to notify the other ppl involved in the prayer meeting who weren't present at the Christian club...
i have no idea exactly what they are going to tell us, but i'm praying that it doesnt cripple anyone from wanting to stand up for God and profess their faith soundly
it was so amazing, i dont understand why the school would stop it!
after 9/11, many ppl asked where God was...
we take God out of newspapers, schools, work areas and more...
next the pledge of allegiance and our coins...
we suck Him out of the lives of the ppl as a society,..
and we still have the nerve to ask where God is??? | | |

At school
on Thursday at lunch, in the middle of the quad for no reason, a few kids stood up holding hands and praying.
some more joined, then more...
i joined in the circle,
then a few more came...
ppl holding hands lifting them in the air shouting praises, or silently commmunicating with heads bowed and a tear falling
soon there was a big circle in the quad praying
and other ppl standing back and looking,
some with confused expressions on their faces,
some pointing and snickering,
others pretending they don't see it.
some just watching....
afterwards we all huddled together and turned everywhich way hugging each other in a big group
then dispersed shortly before the bell rang
other ppl asked questions us and wondered.
it was amazing
and so encouraging
i had recently been discouraged b/c of some things
that had happened at school,
but the support that everyone out there praying had for each other as Christians astounded me!
i didn't know there were that many Christians at my school
GOD does amazing things and moves in ppl. HE triggers things in us, tells us to do stuff, and we need to follow it. timidity is not from HIM, but our selfish nature, for GOD gave us love.
we need to love HIM, then love one another.
2 Timothy chpt 1...
6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

| Hey anyone who reads this-
i am mostly talking to myself
Pray!
talk to God, he wants to hear from you!(Hebrews 4:16) I constantly remind myself of this.
if you love someone, dont you want to spend time simply talking to them?
about your emotions, sorrows, insecurities, joys, and more.
and i dont think that the point of prayer is only to give God a long list of stuff you want and need.
He already knows that.
Matthew 6:8 "Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him."
Yea He is pleased when you come to Him with your needs,
but you should also have a need to praise him, to thank him and meditate on His glorious presence and goodness to us!
Everything He has given you is a gift!
Give back to God a little of what He gave you. Your life. | | |
